  • Complete fork and rear shock servicing, including revalving
  • Most major brands are serviced, KYB A Kit, Showa and WP.
  • Suspension work is tuned to meet the riders needs and ability.

Fork rebuilding:
Showa, KYB, Marzocchi, and WP forks can be completely rebuilt using all new parts. Oil seals, dust wipers and bushings will be replaced for most typical rebuilds. Cartridge seals can be replaced when necessary, as well as any damaged hard parts. All internal components will be cleaned, inspected and reassembled properly. Any damage, such as nicks or scratches in the fork tube can usually be polished out, and this is included in all fork rebuilds. Rock oil is used in most forks, and Kayaba or Ohlins oil is available upon request.

Shock rebuilding:

Showa, KYB, Marzocchi, and WP rear shocks can be completely rebuilt using all new parts. Each shock rebuild will include a total disassembly, thorough cleaning of all of the internal components, replacement of all worn or failed parts and a proper reassembly. Owners of KTMs and Husabergs will greatly benefit from our services, as we are one of the few suspension shops that vacuum bleed every WP shock upon reassembly, thus insuring 100% pure oil and no air within the PDS unit. Ohlins shock fluid is used exclusively in all WP shocks and Rock Oil, Kayaba K-2C as well as the Ohlins oil can be used in the other brands.

Revalve services:
Suspension can be internally modified to suit each rider's personal preferences. Proper spring rates need to be determined first for the individual's weight, and riding style. The forks and shock can then be revalved to alter the suspension's action to match the type of riding it will be used for, such as Supercross, Motocross, Woods, Desert, Supermoto, or just all around (a little track, a little trail, whatever).

Lowering services:
We can lower the suspension of most modern off-road bikes to suit those with a shorter inseam. Normally we'll lower a bike somewhere between one and two inches, and the process is completely reversible. Spring rates and valving will typically be adjusted to get the best performance package, and not end up with a horribly handling (but lower) motorcycle. "Lowering Links" are also available as an alternative to the internal modifications, and we will install these as well, upon request.

Front suspension swaps:
For customers with older bikes who would like to update the performance of their suspension and the front brakes, we offer front suspension swaps. These jobs vary greatly on the level of complexity, but typically end up making an outdated machine feel a lot more modern. Examples of a few of the transplants we've performed are;
Kawasaki KXF450 front end on a 1997 KTM300EXC
Yamaha YZ85 front end on a 2002 Yamaha TTR125L
Honda CRF250R front end on a 1996 Honda CR250
Honda CRF450R front end on a 1999 Honda XR400
Yamaha YZ80 front end on a 2002 Honda CRF100
Almost anything is possible, just call to discuss your project.
